Jessie Fahay, the Founding Director of Ripple Effect Artists, first realized that theatre can make a difference when performing in William Mastrisimone's"Bang Bang you're Dead".  This tragic story about a High School shooting was performed right after the Columbine tragedies and landed quite powerfully with an audience of High School students.  It was through this experience that she realized that theatre can be more than just entertainment, but rather a way to start a dialogue about atrocities and issues across the globe.

Through her years of pursuing acting and writing in New York, she came to three major objectives:
1. To have a team of artists who use theatre to make a difference
2. To work with the people she chose to work with--people who take the work seriously
3. To partner with Human Rights Activists and Schools across the globe.

From these conclusions, RIPPLE EFFECT ARTISTS was born!
